Who We Are

KlearPath (klearpath.io) is a software platform that helps medical device companies prepare FDA 510(k) submissions. We provide AI-assisted document drafting, device profile management, and submission readiness tracking.

What Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use KlearPath:

• Account information: Your email address, used to create and manage your account.
• Device and product information: The data you enter into the app, including device descriptions, intended use, predicate information, performance testing data, and other submission-related content.
• Payment information (future): When billing is introduced, payment details will be collected and processed securely through Stripe. KlearPath will not store raw card data.
• Usage analytics (future): We may collect anonymized usage data to understand how the product is used and where it can be improved.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the KlearPath service, including generating AI-assisted submission documents.
• To save your project data and allow you to continue working across sessions.
• To improve the product based on how it is used.
• To communicate with you about your account or updates to the service.

Third-Party Services

KlearPath relies on the following third-party services to operate:

• Supabase: Used for user authentication and database storage. Your account and project data is stored in Supabase-managed infrastructure.
• Anthropic API: Powers the AI document generation features. Content you enter into your device profile may be sent to Anthropic's API to generate documents. Anthropic's usage policies apply.
• Stripe (future): Will be used to process subscription payments. Stripe's privacy policy will govern payment data handling.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Access to your data is controlled through row-level security policies.

We do not sell your personal data or device information to any third party, and we do not use your submission data to train AI models.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data and project content. To request account or data deletion, email us at contact@klearpath.io. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.
